The Hautrage re-refinery plant in Belgium, unique in the Benelux, converts all types of hydrocarbon waste - used oil - into saleable products such as gas oil, stock oil, fuel oil, bitumen etc.

The quality, health & safety and environmental policies were confirmed by ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification, completed by OHSAS 18001 health & safety certification.

2004:

The company Propak Systems LTD from Alberta, Canada built the re-refinery in Hautrage, Belgium.

2008:

The re-refining installation is at the service of recycling and regeneration of hydrocarbon waste and production of petroleum substances. The annual output production capacity is 25000 to 30000 tonnes.

2016:

Since July 2016 the site is property of the HASCO holding - Comfort Energy Group, market leader in Belgium in fuel distribution and key market player in the distribution of gas and electricity.

2020:

The HASCO holding wishes to alter the scope of activities and redevelop/reallocate the site in Hautrage. Therefore we are starting up orientational talks with third parties that have an interest in the purchase of this plant and the translocation of the re-refining activities.
